Step 1:
Look up the banknote in question, in a value-guide such as
the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money - or any other guide you favour.

Step 2:
If your value-guide gives values for grades VG, VF & UNC, click here
(this is the most usual combination of grades given in Standard Catalog of World Paper Money (vols 1,2 & 3)

If your value-guide gives values for grades G, F & XF, click here
(this is also quite a common combination of grades in Standard Catalog of World Paper Money (vols 1,2 & 3)

If your value-guide gives values for grades VF & XF, click here
(this combination of grades is sometimes seen in Standard Catalog of World Paper Money
and also "English Paper Money" by V. Duggleby.
